We looked into a Tahoe cabin when prices were depressed in the recent economic cycle. We looked at 30+ homes (Doug was eternally patient) and ultimately settled on the one we started with. (Website reviews helped immensely since it clearly helped us decide on what we were looking for.) The listing agent was new and did not know the code words on pricing which resulted in some tough negotiations. Ultimately Doug, as experienced in this area, quieted our discomfort as to the final deal. He has remained a constant contact on local issues, preferred contractors, etc. We were satisfied with our purchase and overall experience. Value has gone up significantly.
