DFRE Sells Donner Summit – Truckee Home
We had a great time selling this Donner Summit home, 48707 Luken Way, with DFRE partner Jack Bonnici running point. Jack hunts, camps and fishes the Donner Summit country and is a great partner for DFRE on these properties. He also takes my son up there to wander around, I would call it hunting but as far as I am told they have never even shot at anything, so I would call it wandering around. It must be pretty country though as they keep going back! This was a very popular cabin for activity with the price and proximity to all of the outdoors. I know my son would have loved it too!
This fixer will be a great project for a nice fireman family from the foothills that was looking for a project and fun getaway. The sellers are happy a nice family with new energy is coming in to appreciate it. This worked out for all. Luken Way sold for $172,500.
Sixteen properties have sold on Donner Summit this year. That is quite remarkable considering how much snow we had this winter and we are just hitting the Summit selling season. The average price so far is $542,000 with a median of $520,000.
We hope to do more work on the Donner Summit this summer!
